"Comfort in Solitude" - the light/normal side of Silent Hill

I finally finished this today. I've worked on it over the course of a month. I probably spent about 60-80 hours on it.

This song was inspired by Akira Yamaoka, the creator of Silent Hill and its music. "Comfort in Solitude" is 1 of 2 songs. This one is the light/normal side of Silent Hill. The other, "Purgatory" (still workin' on it) is the dark/alternate side of Silent Hill.

I didn't remix any of Akira's songs. What I did create (from how I understand the story of Silent Hill and its music) is my own interpretation of Silent Hill. My goal was to make it so it sounds like it could actually be in the game...something that Akira might make.

All my songs tell a story. This song contains a progression of different melodies, or themes, (or chapters) that transition one into the next.

I really hope you like my song. Thanks for reading. I hope it wasn't too much.

This is it.

It says all. It could really fit in the game. I like it. I see a man walking in the fog, trying to find a way, he doesn't know very well who he is as well as what he's doing here. What he does know is that his right ear is bleeding. He feels the hot liquid on his head. And he is seeing this things in the shadows. It makes him think of a woman with broken arms - hands twisted in a strange direction, walking like a prostitute in desperate need for money. He thinks he knows her name, but he can't say it - his tongue won't obey. If only he could see her clearly...

Thanks for the review. I apologize for the late response.
Your description is awesome. That really made my day. It's very interesting to hear of your mental experience when listening to the song. I still think to this day that this was probably my best. Unfortunately, I no longer have time to mix anymore...but your words help alleviate the pain of the passion I chose not to pursue at a crossroads.

Thanks again...
