Why Hello there! Been a while since I've uploaded something. I've been throwing around song ideas with the voices in my head so many times, I feared I would never release another song.
This one's been collecting dust on my Hard Drive for months now (Work began the moment I finished One More Corner) when I finally decided to go ahead and tweak n' submit. Its not the longest song, nor was it really meant to be any longer than it is. It was just there to act as a filler for when procrastination/writer's block set in (which it has..). I suppose you could say this song would be in the same "game" that One More Corner would probably be found in.
Expect 3 or 4 more songs in the coming months, as they finally draw slowly to completion.
(I have a bad habit of submitting songs really late at night/really early in the morning... I really should stop that.)
Mysterious and unusual
The slow start is nice, and the progression is nice. Are those hammers at 0:45? They really add a nice blend into the song.
In total, the song has a great flow, upbeat and fresh. The transitions and rhythm are well done. The hammers were a great touch. The beginning has a bit of an deep feel to it, but the later half - after the hammers come in - is something that doesn't bring up any mental images. Still sounds good though. No real suggestions or criticisms, sorry.
