Wow, this thing took me forever to do. I'm not even going to lie. >=]

It's been a long time since I have done anything Megaman related, but what I have done here is set up the medley like you were actually playing the game, so theres about six different clips from Megaman X in here, the main one being Sting Chameleons stage.

Stage Select
Maverick Intro
Sting Chameleon
Maverick Encounter
Maverick Fight

Anyways just give it a listen. I'm so damn tired right now. Thanks everyone for their time and the people that actually read this.

Not as bad as you lead it to think.

I read your review on VikingGuitar's Medley.

For your age, this is pretty fucking good, dude. What I love most about it is it's gritty. Got that sludgy "jun-jun" in some parts; if I were you I'd twist that to your advantage, giving Mega Man a bit of Texan Bluesy Rock flair. His tone was nice and crisp, so he succeeded doing what everybody was trying to do, and get as close to the video game music with a guitar without sounding like Herman Reee.

I wouldn't be concerned about your tone, dude. I was digging what I was hearing before the 2:19 mark, and by the 2:22 mark, the change of pace surprised me...really interesting. I like this man.

I'd just look into getting a louder drum-machine. Everything else will come with practice. Keep on jamming!

Excellent series of songs to metallize, especially Sting Chameleon's theme. Thumb's up.

KitsuMech responds:

I chose the Sting Chameleon just because you don't really see it covered/remixed all that much.

Or at least I don't... *shrugs.

I do love the MMX Metalization, I aspire to be as godly as Darkside some day.

Some day... :D

Nice! :)

Pretty cool with a couple of fuck up's but nothing too serious. Overall, nice flow between the songs. Just like playing the game. ;)

Though, you could work a bit more on your overall sound. EQ wise. The drums, especially the kick drowns very much in the mix. The hole thing is a bit "fuzzy" as well, so careful with your frequency adjustments. ;)

Other than that, it was pretty cool. 5/5! :)

KitsuMech responds:

It's a constant tweek battle trying to get everything to sound just the right way. Rawr.

Still recording off of the line-in from the amp to the computer. One day I'll set up with mic's. One day...

Thanks for the review man!

fucking sweet.

wow, you nailed it. you totally did such a great job at recreating all these megaman songs. flows pretty nicely too.

KitsuMech responds:

^^ I love MMX music

Chill Penguin , Spark Mandrill , Armored Armadillo , launch octopus , boomer Kawanger , sting Chameleon , storm eagle , flame mammoth ^^

KitsuMech responds:

I think this is the best review ever. No critique on the music, just geeky nerd love.
