Not to many people on newgrounds make west coast style tracks.
And it seems that, that's what I am good at for some reason I like to use strings and pianos a lot.
Or maybe I am just good with them. I don't know.
Anyways I am just trying to keep my style like my style and not anyone elses.
I felt that the first version had a lot of potential but was not executed well .
So I went back and did what I could to make it sound better.

I'm from there man. You represented good! haha, great beat man. The melody and that piano were really good. Everything blended really well. The only drawback for me were the drums, they didn't stand out much. Add some more treble to them. But overall the beat was really solid. I enjoyed it.

Yep, you're pretty good with the piano, I think you should make the bass (kick) a lil more powerful maybe. This is good hiphop.

This is a west coast beat.
West Coast usually don't have a huge kick, nor did I want one, because it doesn't get lost in the mix, it is loud enough for the verse, and doesn't overpower in the chorus.
