My first composition project, started when I downloaded Finale NotePad back in December of 2005. Using classical instruments, one bass, and one synth pad, I crafted a complicated, ever-evolving tune that fit the landscape of Jupiter's moon, io, a land of seething lava and frozen plateaus. I revised the production with z3ta+ and ACID Pro 6 in July of 2006, and I finished the composition in December of 2006. Finally, I worked out the mixing bugs and released the finished version in February of 2008. I hope you Newgrounders enjoy it.

I like the way you use very non-generic instruments in this piece. The melody was also very nice, although hardly consistent. If you were going to redo it, the one thing I would tell you to do is to try to keep one kind of melody in the song. At first I was like, this song is making me a little sad, but later on the tune changed drastically from a depressing beat to a very video game-like up beat sound. Other than that, very nice work, especially for your first.
