This just the intro to a huge song I'm working on. It's at 120BPM at the moment, and after the crash, the main song will come in at 160BPM with lots of synths, effects and dirty basses. It'll have a D'n'B edge to it, but as you can hear here, it's not going to be set into just one genre, it'll be a fusion of ideas, rather than an arrangements of conventions to form a genre based song.
I hope you enjoy this little teaser. I'm pretty happy with it so far.
Edit: I've come to the decision that I'll release this song progressively in parts as I create it, and then upload a full, uninterrupted version from an external site. I've got part 2 done, and I'll upload it in a minute, and part 3 has some good progress, but needs a lot of tweaking. I'll probably change some things at the end, but as a whole, I'm satisfied for the meantime.

Reminded me of a prince of persia game, or something along those lines. Excellently built at the start and the retro synth was good too. Can't wait to hear the actual song if that's anything to go by, you should be proud

Sweet
Its quiet at the start and very melodic, sounds very religious to be honest. But still pretty cool, i like the way it builds up and kicks into this weird beat with funky synth. its really cool. tad short though.

I've worked on it a bit more now, and it's about 4 minutes long, it's got all sorts of weird sounds going on, so I'm relatively pleased with it.

Quiet build up
This tune works it way nicely into the feeling that there is something bigger underneath it all, wating to get out. I'm looking forward to the final piece, as it sounds like it's going to be something groundbreaking and awe inspiring.
I think that the soft sound of the drums in the background really made this tune, as they give an uplift to the melody and made a real difference to the entire tune.

You really should be happy with it
From what I listened to, it sounded like something big was coming. This could be used in an intro for a Flash movie, no doubt about it.
The intro sounded like a funeral, with a depressive felling on it. However, the "mood" of the song changes drastically at 0:45. It was a well made change.
The rhythm at the faster part was very good. the song was doing fine when it suddenly ended. Well, it's just a demo, anyway. =)
I'd like to know when you're going to release the final project. It sounds great so far, the full version should be even better. Nice job.
