Here is a remix of Basshunter's Atlantis. I heard the original, and at first I didnt know if I liked it or not... But it stuck in my head and I have grown to like it, infact so much, that I decided to make my own version! :D So, let me know what you think! Hope you enjoy it!!

lol interesting take. i think that this could have been better, but its an okay submission. heres some constructive crit [don't take me as harsh, jst trying to be helpful]:

1) the lead synth that had some LFO on it seemed like a strange choice - i mean, it kind of works, but the atmosphere it makes is kinda weird sounding lol.

2) the percussion seems really weak to me, honestly. i know u were going for a different sound than the usual cliched basshunter rave song, but i think it could have been better in that respect--the clap is weak, the cymbals have a weird lo-fi synthetic quality that doesn't jive with the feel of the song very well, and the bass drum is weak--boost up higher levels, layer it to make it last longer, make it louder, idk.

3) the arrangement of notes was very good, though--good job on that! i didnt hear the original song before, but im assuming some of the melodies of the pads are your own, so it sounds very good - those came out well, with the strings and the notes playing every 16th note.

4) finally, i wish the melody had some variation--i dont mean necessarily changing the tone of the song or the melody itself, but play with the synth to make it mor einteresting--chop it up, make it modulate, change filter effects, whatever--just make it different as the song continues and that way itll be very clutch.

5) finally, good job with transitions--the song definately flowed well.

overall, decent song, with some touching up and revamping, it could be awesome. gj for now, and i hope you improve in the future :)

--if you have time, drop by my stuff too--its only fair :)

Catstuffer responds:

wow... uh thanks for the input! I think you should indeed listen to the song (youtube it!). The main lead is just sorta gives a haloween feeling in teh orginal as well. I appreciate the input on variation and bass levels. Im workin with a demo version of EJay Techno 5. All the sounds you hear are my own. I did not use any defalt loops, and I cant even save the song. The song is recorded through the "speaker line in" so volume is a bit lower then most songs and quality may not be at its prime. Thanks again for the review... ill head over and see what cha got as soon as im done typing this scentence!
