ahem.... hello class, today we are talking about evolution
one of the most controversial subjects in science
please feel free to ask questions when you feel neccesary

verse 1

evolution is the change that progresses in all over time
its not about askin how, but all about askin why
it starts with natural selection, whichever is better fit
to survive better off the lands, which ones die, and which ones live
it starts off with 4 men different men different practices
their names, baptist, cuvier, liet, and mathus
they came up with different theories but it wasn't enough
there wasn't a clear explanation on all of this stuff

is where man took his first steps and first learned to stand
we all, come from, a common decent
but a struggle for existence, extinction we cant prevent

then a man named darwin came along and made a conclusion
he strung, theories together and called it evolution
darwin came up with 5, different observations
with 3 different inferences that gave clear explanations
he studied (bird whistle) galapago finches
he noticed, they where the same and also had something different
they each developed something that was good and efficient
evolving was there goal, and survivals their mission

now this theory is called punctuated equilibrium
this happens when there's a crisis in each and every millenium
the idea is that things dont evolve gradually
evolution gimps when life changes so drastically
dont thing of evolution as a slope it acts more like stairs
evolution takes a step, and a species stays here
and then theres gene flow when many populations combine
immigration affiliation their genes mix and combine
