ANCIENT ALERT AGAIN!
This one is old as the constitution. But who cares.
Yeah, decided to do a take on the Monkey Island theme. Cause come on, who doesnt like that melody. Tried to recreate it as close to the original as I could inn the first sequence, and then I did 2 alternaticve melodies after that before I finished with a slightly different version of the first one again. The vocals are obviously ripped from "Curse of the Monkey Island", and I managed to find an old April 1st. joke on Monkey Island 5-interview, which I used in the middle section.

It captures the feel of the Monkey Island games very well.
You should revisit this with the addition of tracks from Escape From Monkey Island and Tales of Monkey Island.

It's not every day you get the chance to listen to an awesome remix/remake of an awesome song from an awesome game! (alot of awesome?)
But what I'd like to hear, is a trance or dance remix of this old tune :D I think you'd do a great job if you did that :D
Just love the caribbean feel from this song, and you made a good job on the other melody :)
Cant find anything bad about this, just another piece of awesomeness :P

A faster dance-remix might happen one day. I actually checked out if it is possible when I made this one - and yes - it can be done. The only problem is that the speed becomes a little hazzle to make cool. So I cant keep the original flow of the melody and still keep it cool, it has to be changed around drastically to fit the faster trance-genre. If I were to put a dance kick in the speed THIS ONE goes in, it would be around 170 beats per minute - which makes it a hardcore-song:P (just tap the beat with your finger as you listen, and you'll see what I mean)
But one day when the motivation is up, I'll give it a go and see what happens.
After all, it is maybe the best game-song ever made.
