Lovesong for Chemistry

Update* May 15 2008
I mastered the track to make the vocals stand out, and I re-recorded the guitar with a darker tone. The solo part has changed a bit.

So we were celebrating Mole Day in Chemistry, and the teacher said, " I don't care what you do as long as I can tell you put a large amount of work and effort into it." That's how this came to be.

I used Fruity Loops and the free trial of Adobe Audition along with the USB iMic, a Behringer three channel desktop mixer, and a Behringer $99 microphone. I borrowed everything in here except the guitars over one night. The guitars are an Epiphone Les Paul Classic, a Fender Starcaster Learner's Acoustic, and a Behringer 15 watt practice amp.

To make a long story short, I used the line input of a cheep $10 USB audio hub, and was able to make this. I don't know, I am a wee bit impressed. The quality is decent, but the song itself is kind of lame.

Pretty good.

The song is actually pretty good, I loved it. It was calm and with good rhythm as well had a nice drum order. The solo could be improved. Thought the overall quality of the song could be improved too. There are some unclear parts in the song. I don't quite like the scratchy guitar sound, >.<

But it's prettu good for a rock song, especially you making it with real instruments.

sexy sound

Kind of makes you feel sad inside but this sounds really great as well for a sad rock song..

it made me cry..

Good luck making more my dear audio buddy
