I decided to write a quick arrangement of these two songs, and as I was coming up with both ideas, I felt they fit well together, so I made a little mixture song. I love both Lenna and Rydia's characters and their themes and putting them both together really brought out something I found I wanted to to. I will be, from here on out, be writing piano arrangements of Final Fantasy tunes for an arrangement album.

Sounds great

For the life of me I can't remember who Rydia was.....was she the Summoner on FFV or someone from FFVI? Arg. Brain Hemorrhage. Sounds very beautiful. You did a great job on this piece.

DPK4 responds:

She was the summoner in FFIV when they were called Callers rather than summoners. Thanks for the compliment!

Rydia's character is a tragedy. I thought the other girl's name was Reina...unless there are two different versions of her name. Oh well, I don't know everything. It's a pretty song.

DPK4 responds:

it's Reina in the English Square Translation, in the Japanese and some fan translations, it's Lenna. Either or works, I just like Lenna better. Thanks for the compliment!

very interesting what you did here. Still very beautiful you've kept the great parts of these tracks and added them together and in doing so added a bit of your very own essence into this. Great work

Thanks for the review. I did want to go for my own little flair with this, though I will admit the work on Lenna's theme sounds a little Michael Huang-ish, but seeing as I am a huge fan of his arrangements I guess that would count as homage to him, haha!
