This is my remix of Besaid Island theme from Final Fantasy X... can you feel the beach ? ^^

This is absolutely one of my favorite songs I have found on newgrounds, and I can not believe I have not rated this song before now. When FFX came out here in NA my local EB Games had a copy of the domestic OST for sale and I bought it. When I first got to Besaid and heard this song I was in love. And I was super pleased to see it on the domestic OST (which was a very cut down version of the OST). I played that song in my car, at work, at home and have had a version of it on every portable music player I have ever owned.
When I found this song of yours it was like back then all over again. I play this song all the time at work, and have it on my iPhone. But you know what I think is really neat about this song. It also reminds me of a movie I enjoyed called "The Beach". Something about this just makes me think of the setting in that movie and that song "Spinning Away" used in its OST (I loved that song)!
Anyway I just love your version of this song, it makes me wish it was summer all year long and that I lived someplace like that little island called Basaid.

I also fell in love right the first time I heard the theme of Besaid Island... for some reason, it's pretty much under-rated song. That's why I had to remix it. And I'm really glad you liked it that much and that it took you back to the time you first played the game... FFX is propably the last decent Final Fantasy game ( even it's very weak compared to the PS1 and SNES titles, at least imho ) and I like to remember the time I used to play it. It was propably the last time I felt like a kid. Whole soundtrack was great... it was different from Nobuo's scores before and Hamauzu definitely nailed his part in this game.
PS.: The Beach is one of the greatest movies and it's soundtrack is pure gold.

this is awesome, i looked at the title beforehand and thought the remix wouldnt be that good but then i listened to it and i was blown away, omg, i love it and i cant stop listening to it, ive listened to it like 3 maybe four times already, its one of my favorite songs on newgrounds

thank you very much... I usually hate my past production but I must admit, I like to listen to this track aswell... that's propably because I fell in love with original song after first listen... kudos to Masashi Hamauzu, he's the one responsible for these lovely melodies, I just made it little bit more beachy :) it's the sound of Besaid life if the Sin never existed and whole life would be only eating exotic food, felling in love with pretty girls of Besaid and playing Blitzball on the beach all day long ;) I'm glad you are enjoying this song as much as it was meant to be ;)

To me honestly,this is my favourite song in the whole game,cuz it's a lot more cheerful than the others,but your remix is,to me,3 times better,cuz it's more cheerful and better than the original song!(atleast that's how I think about this ^^)

you totally get this song :) I fell in love with this song first time I heard it, because of it's calmness, cheerfulness and positivity all over it... and I wanted extract these and multiply to make a remix full of positive energy, like only the awesome beach can give you :)

If they had a Beach Party on Besaid in FFX this would fit perfectly.
