that went really well with the tank animation. a tank riding through the sunset at the end of the world....awesome......
Hey man. I'm really glad you like this. I was trying to get something that had an emotional pull to it. I plan on redoing this song. Future plans! Making a second part or something.
Great work...again, haha.
This is what it feels like to me, what I personally pictured when I close my eyes:
A couple years ago, it was predicted that the world was going to end, and there was nothing the human race could do about it. For a while there was a great panic among the human race, many terrible things happened. People had absolutely no idea how to react to the end of the world. Every single bit of life on earth would end, and there was no way to prevent it.
Finally, the eve of destruction has arrived. Now everyone found themselves calm now. They were ready. People all across the world began to leave their homes, walking along the grass, finding a good place to settle down for the last time, trying to find Seats to the End of the World. I sat on a blanket with my girlfriend at the top of the grassy hill about a hundred feet from my house. We both sat there, smiling as we stared up at the calamity that would be plunging into the atmosphere within the hour. It was the beginning of the end for all.
"What a view", I said, smiling at her.
"Yeah", she said, "It really is".
I'm glad it paints a picture for you; that it can take you somewhere else for its duration. I would imagine people would just join in to accept the end of the world together rather than a horrible panic.
Love it. It's really energetic and really calming at the same time. I agree with what's already been said, the synth part that comes in around 2:30 is nice, I like the backwards sounding feel it has.
If you don't mind me asking, how do you sequence your drums?
Oh awesome, im glad you like it. Thats sort of what i was going for. A sort of odd energetic calm. A nervous acceptance. I was never quite sure about the synths when they came in, but its awesome that people are agreeing with them, i wasnt sure if people would! : D
How do i sequence them? I use FL, i work mainly with wavs rather than working with patterns and such in the piano roll. I generally arrange everything piece by piece.
Seats To The Review Of The World
NG really do need an IDM catagory, don't they?
Your signature glitchy drums with brilliant melodies and that, once again 'signature', piano piece. Amzing synth part around two and a half minutes in... really compliments it.
You love the ending, eh?
Must admit, it is pretty hectic.
Yes, they really do. I wonder how or if i could persuade the site runners to make an extra category for it. Call it whatever, IDM just covers both glitch and breakcore.
You like that synth part, yeah? Me too. hah. Pulls out alot of energy to whats going on. The song builds and builds, till the quiet piano'y end.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
