I probably should've add some "irl" sounds, that would've totally made the song way better. If the setting is a night club or a bar or somethin like that, you could imagine what kind of sounds I'm talking about.
Imagine...
You just made it to an all night party, someone greets you then you walk in. You start to party a lot, dancing to music, absolutely decimating the dance floor. At the same time doing- less than legal activities. You look around you to see flashing strobe lights, silhouettes of shadows, constantly moving.
But then it all leads to the moment you lose yourself, and start tripping BALLS! The already colorful, vibrant, and alive environment becomes even more colorful, vibrant, and alive...
You start to see everything morph, move, and hue shift. You let the raw, innate feeling of "being in the moment" show itself.
You trip the night away. 1 am, 2am, 3 am, you feel euphoric as the effects of the "substances" wear off. 4 am, 5 am, 6 am, you come to your senses and notice, dawn has come. You have been moving ever since dusk, till dawn you party.
As the 8 hour energy you took at the beginning of the night wears off, you notice less people are here than there were when you started. You feel too sleepy, drunk, and high to drive yourself. You call a taxi.
You go to the 5th dimension to keep yourself awake, and while you're doing that, you think to your self, "it feels like just 5 minutes ago I just got to the party and now suddenly, I'm in a taxi, being driven home."
That's what this song feels like to me, even though it's 5 minute long, it feels like 3 minutes, and I'm wishing that it could've lasted longer.
Now, you finally get home, start walking to your door, then suddenly... everything blacks out. You have a dream. The dream you have is everything you've experienced that night, feeling much longer now, getting to take it all in. You then wake up, not remembering anything, but a couple of images from your dream. Now you wonder, "How did I end up on my front lawn, did I sleep here? Why is there puke on the grass and my chin? What happened?"
And you feel BRICKED, so groggy, whatever you do doesn't help this feeling of sickness, tiredness, fatigue, dizziness, and weakness. To this day, you still don't remember what happened that night, not even any key moments from the dream you had.
From Dusk till Dawn... you were in absolute euphoria, it felt like a dream...
If you read the story, you're an absolute legend.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
