Please, listen to the whole song.

I'm re-submitting this song with a few changes that I had planned on making earlier. When I submitted the first version, everyone voted low and no one told me why. People were just hearing the opening and judging the whole song by it and then leaving before listening to the entire thing. So I added a few more verses and added to the opening. I hope that doesn't happen again, I tried to make the opening more interesting. Well, we'll see...

--original commentary--
This is a common song to be played in school bands.

Inspired by Canon Rock by Jerry C.

Just listen.

--lyrics--
Here is the definitive authorised version of the words:

I danced in the morning
When the world was begun,
And I danced in the moon
And the stars and the sun,
And I came down from heaven
And I danced on the earth,
At Bethlehem
I had my birth.

Dance, then, wherever you may be,
I am the Lord of the Dance, said he,
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be,
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said he

I danced for the scribe
And the pharisee,
But they would not dance
And they wouldn't follow me.
I danced for the fishermen,
For James and John -
They came with me
And the Dance went on.

Chorus

I danced on the Sabbath
And I cured the lame;
The holy people
Said it was a shame.
They whipped and they stripped
And they hung me on high,
And they left me there
On a Cross to die.

Chorus

I danced on a Friday
When the sky turned black -
It's hard to dance
With the devil on your back.
They buried my body
And they thought I'd gone,
But I am the Dance,
And I still go on.

Chorus

They cut me down
And I leapt up high;
I am the life
That'll never, never die;
I'll live in you
If you'll live in me -
I am the Lord
Of the Dance, said he.

Chorus

This rocks

I would give this 9/10. I dont think it is a rock song though or i dont hear it that way, i like to think its somekind of techno and i like it very much.
There is nothing bad about this audio except it sounds raw at some points for example 0.27.
Well enough said, great piece of music! Listened it throught 4 times

Special-Ed responds:

thanks for the comment!

if thats your opinion that its more techno, I wont tell you other wise, but due to my opinion, it stays where it is.

Bagpipes?!

Baaaaag pipes!! w00t

Ouch, this thing hurt my freaking ears when it exploded (x_X)

Other than that it's a pretty fun song. I think it may be my speakers or maybe also track but the song gets kinda cracky as the volume goes up higher....again may be my speakers or the song.

Anyway, nice work ;D

Special-Ed responds:

Ok, I surrender, it must be my speakers that are quiet. I'd have to be a fool to deny that its me. there's not much I can do though. just turn down the volume and try listening to it again...

--edit--
Oh! when you said cracky, if you meant like crackly and hard to makeout sounds, then it's not your speakers, its just the best quality version of the song I could fit into 8mb. Which kinda sucks because haveing quality up all the way makes it 8.05mb. I literally freaked out... I had turn it down one notch, which changes the size from 8.05mb to 6.5mb, and that much quality is lost.

P.S. I'm also about to post the same song at 100 bpm, without the opening. So you can follow the words! (which, unfortunately means no more bagpipes... ( Y~Y)

P.P.S. I also didn't press any of the period buttons hard this time.

nice

good song, but damn it is really loud.
