Mother Machine returned to The Deep, alone and hollow. In the absence of Her followers, Her fans, and Her motivation She sat quietly for long days and sleepless nights wondering what She did wrong. Over time, as She would walk Her footsteps left trails in the dust. She would intentionally step where She already had as not to disturb anything further, slowly remembering Her understanding of Her oneness with the environment around Her. She was not solely to blame.

Alone but not lonely for a brief moment, Mother Machine left The Deep to sing and dance under the desert stars some distance away from her home. However, whether here dancing or at home yearning, The Dust Keeps Her Company.

Ordinary men hate solitude.

But the Master makes use of it,

embracing his aloneness, realizing

he is one with the whole universe. (Tao Te Ching #42)

The moment will fade, and the struggle will return, but worrying about the future gains us only so much. For now, we can be in the moment. For now: Don't Think, Just Dance.
