October 14. International Shrimp Sandwich Day.
Had no idea it was this day today! That it's now shrimpin' time! But that's okay we've got a plastic jar of shrimp in brine! Bread in the freezer now thawed! Dill from the garden my gawd! One egg left over from breakfast - we've got it all in stock!
All the ingredients needed to feed us this indeed delicious maybe deity-crafted nutrition-rich feast with fish-seeming crustacean shellfish that smell liked mixed meats of the Caridea or Dendrobranchiata order of this specie!!! Let's just make some shrimp sandwiches y'all. Take it easy.
Called home from work so we could thaw that bread, killer dinner now had, quick rec, it's off to bed... and that btw is stock footage. If you want an actual pic.

I... don't know really. It must've popped up somewhere in the stream of content I was perusing on the way to work this particular day, didn't know about it before at all. Though we love shrimp sandwiches. Eat 'em at least a few times every year.

Nicely phrased, thank you! :) The 'actual' pic's missing some essential colors without the fresh salad, tomatoes and slice of lemon I felt - alas we didn't have those at home. :) But delicious it most definitely was! Shrimp sandwiches may be my favorite food of all...
