Edit 11/1/24: Now includes a new version using different instruments from other soundfonts. The original version just using the GZDoom soundfont is the second song on the track.

For the surprisingly not uncommon combination of theater kid and necromancer comes The Waltz of False Life, a song to raise an army of the dead to.

There are some parts in the song where some of the instruments swap what parts they're playing. These inverted parts start out decently different from the original rhythm, becoming closer to a proper inversion throughout the song. The idea is that this progression is the dead becoming undead. I used the default MIDI instruments so I could use this in a Doom mod.

This song was actually inspired by a couple songs from Galaktikon 2 (one of my favorite albums), Nightmare and The Agenda. I like how Nightmare is a 3/4 heavy metal waltz sorta thing and the pauses in The Agenda are pretty cool.
