I could do a lot better with the mastering, but fuck it. Since this is an older song, it doesn't use any of the newer samples that I got recently that kick major ass, but I just tried to touch it up so it wasn't so ear shattering and it sounded a little more pleasant. It's alright I guess, I'm not completely satisfied myself but it's up to the listeners to decide. I'll put more effort into it when I get a little better and get more recognition, having fans is an incentive to do better. With no people waiting for you to improve, it's kind of like "Meh, that sounds alright, I'm too lazy to do anymore." With people who recognize you and help you out though, it's like "Will the people who listen to my music like this? Do I like this? What can I do to optimize the song completely?"
So come on guys, throw me some reviews and help me out, advice always, ALWAYS is a good thing for anybody in any field.
Don't let the beginning fool you, turn the volume up and let the bass kick it!
This is the final version of Sadkore, my first Techno genre piece and 2nd real piece overall. I started this on the 21st and I've spent at least 8 hours on it and I have to say I'm quite satisfied myself for being such a beginner. I'll admit now that I'm quite terrible at mastering right now, as I'm not used to doing so and I got lazy, so it could definitely sound much better as it is; I'll probably go back someday and remaster it.
I put a big thanks out to namoroso and DragonsGrief for giving me tips and helping me learn a few new tricks.
Reviews are greatly appreciated. Have fun listening, hope you enjoy. <3
