"Glacius Permafrost was once a close friend of mine. I had first met him at Braelor, where he was still honing his magic.
Prior to my crowning, he had come to the palace doors in search of fame and fortune. He proved to be a brilliantly powerful sorcerer, as well as an important asset in the war; Glacius made most, if not all of my missions possible in the first place. I named him as Archmage, a title even the most esteemed magicians greatly respected.
After the Witch arrived, burnt and starving, I appointed him as her mentor. Glacius treated her like she was his own, and Calamitas quickly surpassed him. She served as my ace in the hole during the war for nearly a decade, rendering every threat before her a pile of flaming ash. She revered in the violence of it all, the endless dance of madness and death; but now that that fire inside her has died, all that is left are the smoldering embers of regret.
During that time, Glacius had consulted me on multiple occasions about my campaign. Each time, he came with more hatred, more resentment in his eyes; each time, I waved him off. He hated my ideas, despised my arrogance and absolutely detested my war. I had tried to reason with him, but all he said was that my power had blinded me from the weight of my actions.

So before this one I hated synths because I was all like “ah shit I need violin and piano not this goofy ahh modern type shit” and then I didn’t hate synths anymore :)

i had somebody ask me about this earlier! I thought i turned on the stuff that i needed to, ill try again I guess? Ill get back to you in legit two seconds hold (im assuming you've tried the songs ID in GD right)?
edit: @Mangomonev okay so i did a little digging and I've discovered that the only way for my audio to get into GD is for me to get whitelisted by RobTop. Because I'm a relatively new artist, I have yet to been whitelisted so unfortunately my music isnt allowed :C im pretty sure there're other ways, though, so look up a tutorial or sum?
I have no idea if I actually gave this five stars NG hasn't been loading well for me

jk lol, I don't actually know how to enable my stuff for gd! ill try to figure it out rn. i have like 500 hours on gd myself and used to make tons of levels but then they were all wiped so yeah :C
if you happen to finish or make decent progress with it, send/PM it to me! i'd love to see what you were able to come up with.
edit: @Dolphinsword I figured out how to do it. I’ll enable it for all my stuff in a second here (as I’m currently eating dinner) and then it should work!

Beautiful, cinematic, and orchestral, I really like it! It definitely had a mighty chilliness to it, especially in the beginning with the pad/bell intro, so the title is really fitting. I also really like how you incorporated synth elements, made the song sound more fantasy-y. Percussion was also very well picked out and orchestrated. Amazing work, keep it up :D
