New beat! Track 11 on my upcoming Concept album, Hellfire.
With this, I've finished production.
This will be the penultimate track. The dialogue throughout helps bookend the rest of the album with wrapping it up in a neat little bow, along with Lick a THOT, and the outro.
The hook here comes from Braintax, one of my favourite UK Hip Hop MC's. His lyrics talk about a lot of the same philosophies I channel when it comes to Music Production. As I once said a long time ago, a lot of Hip Hop operates under the framework of 'Hey, this sounds cool! Let's see what happens when I treat music like noise and mangle it!' Following up on techniques pioneered by the likes of Grand Wizzard Theodore and his disciples (or imitators) future DJ's and musicians took this idea and continue to expound upon it and have thusly expanded the aural repertoire that is Hip Hop music.
In other words, Hip Hop music is built atop the shoulders of giants. A lot of Hip Hop is produced in such a way that I am not afraid to say the genre's bedrock, and thus its outgrowths, is by its very nature highly derivative.
Regardless, I'm getting lost down a tangent about the philosophy of Hip Hop.
I hope you enjoy this.
Please leave your honest opinion!
