reminds me of something you would hear in a farming game for the DS, this is awesome. good job!
Yes I even went as far to sample the drum machine !
This is from my short EP "Golden Reverie", this EP is kind of like wandering through a field at night when everything’s calm, but your brain is still wide awake. it’s a mix of country, acoustic pop, and a little psychedelic flavor for good measure. think of it like taking something super familiar, like a golden field, and viewing it under a sky full of swirling stars. everything feels laid-back, but there’s definitely more going on beneath the surface if you’re paying attention.
As for the title : the title "jester in a palace of fools" feels like it's playing with the idea of perspective. the jester, traditionally, is the one who's in on the joke—someone who sees things clearly while everyone else is caught up in their own nonsense. but in a palace of fools, the jester might actually be the most grounded one, the only person who knows what's really going on. it’s kind of ironic—he's supposed to be the entertainer, but in a place full of people who don’t get it, he’s the one who sees the truth.
it could also reflect how sometimes life feels like this big, chaotic performance, with everyone playing their roles and trying to make sense of things, but really, most of it’s absurd. the jester embraces that absurdity, rolls with it, and makes it part of the act. it’s got that vibe of knowing how ridiculous everything is, but instead of stressing, you just laugh and keep going. in a way, the jester might be the wisest of them all, even if he's surrounded by people who don’t get it.
I'm glad that 2024 happened the way it has, it allowed for my music to be more introspective and down to earth all while keeping my traditional sound. In fact, there's beauty in acoustics, not everything has to be electronic all the time (it's even great to mix both together)
The project will be up on youtube on the 22nd to celebrate fall !
Let me know what you think !

Thank you, I was inspired by Stardew Valley & Harvest Moon (also the song "Over My Shoulder") ;]
Nice!
Maybe removing the "clap" beat would improve it and make it more "chill".
