Track 5 from A Stream of Sound

Guitar Tuning: CGDFGC

This is the newest composition from my album A Stream of Sound. I improvised the entire guitar melody in an alternate tuning and in one recorded take for that more lively improvised feel. I then added some accompanying strings to cover the low end as well as bells for added brightness, and finally Chasing Harmonics which is a synth harmonics VST that I found in the stock library in Cubase Elements. I was originally going to make this track into a nature soundscape, hence the name The Great Pine Forest, but I decided not to since it would have detracted from the instrumentation of the track.
