surprise! @TheJayJay inspired me to try out an Album-A-Day. god damn it was taxing on my sanity, but i actually accomplished one! however here i decided to make it a DJ mix instead of a proper "album" (albeit a short one).

i started the mix yesterday (August 27) at 7:59 PM, went to bed around 3:00 AM and slept for eight hours, decided to stop making tracks around 6:24 PM today, and got the mix and cover art done by 7:30

genre-wise i chose late 90s/early 2000s techstep/darkstep/early neurofunk, a la Dieselboy's "Soldier's Story" and "6ixth Session", because that's i was listening to prior to making this and i wanted to try out the style. i emphasized track length over musical variation, so these are heavily loop-based and sometimes a bit repetitive, although i tried to add variation here and there. the tracks were made in SunVox and mixed with Ardour; to make them easy to mix they're all in 4/4, 188 BPM, and start and end with a drum track most of the time

this was a fun little challenge for me, and i hope you enjoy it!
