“Song to the Stars”

It’s been six years since I’ve entered a music competition on Newgrounds. This song is one of those songs that just seemed to come together without much directing from my part. I just opened my DAW and started creating, and the ideas for this song started to come together in not much time at all, so I went with it, and here we are! Recording for this track was a lot of fun, and it was nice to have a reason to play around with some whistles again. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together for this year’s NGUAC. ❤️

This took me on a journey! I could feel the wind in my hair with the atmosphere you created.

Very rarely do songs invite your mind to conjure a world. And this achieves that!

The dynamic contrast. An intensity progression that doesnt betray the sense of wonder this establishes. Instrumentation that feels organic and emotionally evocative vocals.

Really amazing work! Will definitely listen to this for art inspiration!

Sublime!! Glad to see you back for another year after so long, man. Definitely moving onto the next round with this one. This track really sent me away in a journey soaring the stars and hearing them sing, very very close right next to my ears, their melodies with their flute-like voices. Amazing work.
