I was thinking there were elements in the original song that didn't shine as much as I thought they could, and well I liked the first one so much that I decided to give it a spin and try something different with the idea. I liked to chop the vocals around and add ambient elements, as well as taking inspiration from The Darkest Night by Virtual Riot. I wanted to make it nostalgic as well but I don't think many people heard the first one to have that feeling of "oh, I know this sound!". Anyway, this will go to Insomnia EP alongside Space Bunnies and more (might remaster the original one so it's in the album but with the quality you deserve).
