This is one of my older projects (still in its demo stages) that I had a fun time making that I didnt want to just gather dust on my hardrive..so help with this one would be appreciated. Needs a spruce to make some parts more clearer, and different drum samples in the end...lots of styles in this one, I will put into miscellaneous until someone can suggest a genre that it should be in

Really nice

Liked the whole sound of this track, very in your face, and fun. Had me tapping along too. Quite a hectic song overall, but the retro sounding part reallt stood out for me. Made the whole song for me, great job. The only down side to the sond was then ending had the feeling of a loop, but it just stopped, needs to be worked on

Cool

I like the start of this, as it kicks in really quickly with a fast beat. It got a cool fast tempo to it with a variety of sounds which makes it interesting to listen to. However the variety in the sounds is overshadowed by the repetativeness of the track itself. That needs more variation.

i'll work on it, thanks

Some good stuff

Just out of interest, why did you call it 'Flaming Airways'? It doesn't conjure up that sort of symbolism to me and I just wondered if you had different opinions on it.

A good beat, but it did lack variation mostly through the track. This isn't all bad, as it does give some scope for flash artists to encorporate it into some sort of game that would require a good looping track. I really can't find the join, so we're doing well with that part at least.

S3C responds:

well its at a relatively fast BPM and there is a bit of action-oriented elements in here (the drums patterns, heavy phasing, rock organ solos) so I guess my intenions were that it could go with a scene where the main character is riding a motorcycle at an airport that is on fire, and he's trailing behind a plane that has important, stolen equipment and he's trying to somehow get on. Generic storyline, yes, I just thought it up right now. I dont know, I name my stuff after I finish it, not while I'm creating it or beforehand, so that might be the problem. I don't really no what an airway exactly is tho, whether it's just the space that the aviation vehicle flies in or if its the runway track that the vehicle takes off from.

actually it doesnt loop at all :P and i have no idea what you mean in your last sentence :P

thanks for the review!

Alright

Well it seems to be pretty bland in the whole tune but it does sound pretty good, just no sounds that really stick out, nothing bad overall sounding and some of the beats are very good which is nice to hear. I can only suggest adding a little more to this to stop it from sounding too repetitive. That aside, it's pretty nice, good work with this, though it doesn't loop too well I guess it wasn't ment to.

4/5

i'll try to work on that repetitiveness.

I like the different beats you used in here. They make the song really varied and interesting to listen to.

The main problem here is that it seems to me as the song doesn't have any "direction" (so to speak). At first it sounds like a normal techno song, later on it sounds as if it was a game soundtrack, even later it sound different again. I guess it's because it's still in a demo stage. So, try to give the song a kind of direction (I would try to push more towards "game soundtrack" here ;) ).

S3C responds:

Well, I got the direction moving as how I wanted it, starting off a bit dancey-trancey then into the more fast-paced action bit, and so forth. Don't think the styles will change, I just need an ending :)

thanks for the review :)
