i was going to leave this song as it is, and move on,
but i have got some very constructive criticism from Little-Rena and the Review Request Club,
and so im going to overhaul this rather average song and hopefully make something beautiful

thanks guys!

Nice sounds but too repetitive.

The little drumrolls (on what sounds like wood) do kinda sound dolphin-y and I liked the syncopated tempo.

The sound around the 59s mark is cool too.

My main complaint is what I view as WAY too much repetition.

There's a 6s-ish melody that you play for most of the first minute -and-a-half. At 1:30, there are some cool 'underwatery' sounds, but that again turns into what seems like a loop with no variations.

I like the tempo and instruments but just feel like you need to develop the melody more and try to keep it fresh.

And don't be scared of making the tune half the length if that's all the 'material' you come up with. CUT the FAFF!

youre totaly right about all the repitition, i think i just made one riff and dragged it out the length of a song:)

all you guys advise has inspired me to rework this dull old tune into something more dynamic and different

thanks for taking the time to review:)

Ok I didn't know what to make of this, I found it quite inventive and using lots of different sounds not usually accociated with music to make these "dolphin" sounds, it was really cool. The beat/tempo were quite strange also, not knowing what was going on was the only reason why I marked you down. You need more structure

it sure needs more of a structure, it dosent really go anywhere.
i personaly like the silyness of the beat in this one,
but then again i like some pretty weird stuff so thats just me:)

i will get to work on it and repost.
thanks again for your time :)

This track sint a bad track but the first 30 second part seems empty, and it feels like the track never quite kicks into it, like its not really enthusiastic enough. You need to variate it a bit more, or make the whole track shorter and cut each section in half. Its too drawn out to be effective.
The only reference to dolphins i cant imagine in this song is the sound of one dying lol. Sorry.
Once you fix it up a bit the track will be better, it has alot of potential.

i agree with you on everything you have posted here, needs variation and enthusiasm.
it dosent really sound finished.

here really isnt much relation to dolphins musically. i usually just name songs after whatever is in my head at the time:)

Quiet, slow starting

This tune seems quite quiet and I'm sitting here waiting for it to finally crank into life and when it finally does, the tune has been played over halfway.

Shorten up the intro, by adding the first change in a lot earlier (30s max?) once you've got that far, the tune will seem to come together quite well, giving a vastly improved finished product.

you are definitely right about the intro. im gonna redo this song if i can find the original file, so thanks for the input!

It's not too bad, I mean it sound pretty nice and nothing sticks out as sounding bad, but in parts is just seems a little lacking and some parts also seem to be a little repatitive. But most parts sound pretty nice, pretty well put together, not really a relaxing tune as much of the parts seem to sound a little sharp, but that's okay.

Can't see what it really has to do with dolphins, but okay. It also seems to loop pretty well to, so that's good, can't really comment on how it ends, I missed it when it looped, lol. So pretty nice work on this one.

i agree that it goes on too long with no change and the second half could probably be removed and replaced by something different... i think im gonna have another crack at this one, seeing as a few people are suggesting similar things about it.

and yeah, there really isnt much relation to dolphins musically. i usually just name songs after whatever is in my head at the time:)
