[26 March 2010] Final Edit: Fixed a problem causing the exported file to be slightly different every time. Also now in higher quality (320 kbps). :D

Edit 2: Screw it, I'm turning down the volume. This song is too good in other aspects to be wasted because of bad mastering. Hope it sounds better now.

EDIT: Oops, I forgot to add the panning on one of the drum patterns. Fixed now. :)

I finally released a new song! Yay.
I created this bit by bit over the past week or so, from what was originally one drum pattern and a tune I created with the Hypersaw preset for Sytrus.
Inspired by HNI's song "Systematically Disheveled" (to which I contributed a small amount), and maybe slightly by Helix6's new song "The Condition".
Created with FL Studio 7, using in total 21 Patterns, 11 Channels, and 8 Automations.

only 11 channels?

that's nothing sonny boy! Hahaha :P

I don't mind this song actually.. it feels a lot more structured and nothing seems to be spiralling out of control and making me want to grab it and rip it to pieces and throw each piece out the window as I burn it as it has been with some of your songs..

the glitchy static actually sounds good - overall it actually feels like you are improving :)

I'll give you a 10 for the heck of it ;)

blackduckie responds:

This is my favourite of my songs, for many reasons. It combines a lot of elements that I've come to use in my songs and it is, as you put it, much more structured.

Previously I was inspired by some of the more experimental tracks by Pilchard (you know who that is, right?) and I had no idea how to master. In fact when I made this, I STILL had no idea how to master, but somehow that didn't stop the popularity. =/ I've made a better (quieter) version now but I'll probably keep this one up for the nostalgia or something.

Also my favourite bit is at 1:30 where it all goes industrial. Somehow that's relevant. =/
Thanks for reviewing!

whoa dude!

Great song, I like the BANG at the start! Its not like other songs of this genre that build up slowly, and start quietly, this just goes all out!

God bless you man, it could have so easily been made so repetitive, but you made it sharp and awesome, sweet!
