Feels like determination. A bit of a sad undertone, but with some strength and momentum to it.
The story behind this one:
Ethan's great-grandmother was a wonderful woman, she always had the best advice- and Ethan visited her often to help with chores or deliver groceries. She was always good with animals, especially a raven that often sat near her on the porch. (thought it always flew away when he arrived.) He was happy to visit her- but those days were gone now.
One day when he arrived for his usual grocery delivery- she failed to answer the door. And upon entering anyway- to his horror- she had passed peacefully in her sleep. He knew the day would come eventually- she had been old for a while, but why that day?
It had been weeks now, and he still felt empty. He was 18 now- getting ready to be on his own, and when he needed her advice the most- she was gone. He needed to clear his head. He grabbed his bike and began riding it toward the mountain forest he used to play in with his friends- only to slam the brakes to bring his bike to an immediate stop.
On a fencepost nearby- a familiar raven was perched, tilting its head as they looked at each other. Without warning, it suddenly took off- only to land a bit further ahead, only to find the bird taking off again and perching further along the path. It was trying to lead him to something.
Further and further they went, the raven leading him along the winding roads- eventually up a mountain. He would not lose sight of the bird. There was something he needed to see- and the Raven was taking him there- he was sure of it.

That's where the story concludes for now- I would write more but I feel it would need to be part of a different song.
Let me know if you want me to continue that story!
