The title track off the EP "Crystal Vistas".
A friend of mine found a movie on VHS tape that we all watched together, it was called Robot Wars. A pretty funny and terrible movie, but very fun and perfectly b-grade early 90s entertainment. The movie is set in "Crystal Vistas" but it is boring as heck in the movie. I loved the name and I thought it conjured up a very strong visual of some sort of beautiful, utopian but abandoned city, maybe a rogue AI went wild or maybe it was just evacuated for unknown reasons.
This is the track that you put in your convertible hover car as you cruise down the over worldly beach, looking over the sparkling but abandoned landscape.
I normally play electric guitar live, through a bit-crusher and reverb so I can sound like Disasterpiece but on guitar. This track started as an experiment to hear what a nylon string guitar would sound like and I really like it :)
As always, mixed with a healthy amount of Gameboy via mGB.
What software do you use, just curious.
