i've got dozens of differently styled themes, but several of them revolve around the basic boss concept. i've got a LOT of different types of boss musics, and this is, in turn, one of many.

actually, this is sorta simple compared to some of my others.

-Generic Boss crits your face for 9999 damage!- X(

definately has a retro rpg boss feel to it.. like snes retro. its catchy, and brings back a memory or two. while its nothing id download and slap on an ipod, its not a bad piece all around. good job :3

thank you. it's bland, in my own opinion, but i can't hate it.

I feel like im playing Legend of Zelda

Seems kind of old school, but i admit it does have the boss bgm feel to it. The xylophone kind of destroyed the serious vibe that the rest of the track had, Maybe something to keep in mind for future pieces. Pretty good beat though. Practice makes perfect.

darkmelee responds:

bah, this isn't a time-consuming project or anything; just a sitdown that spawned a song, one i weeded out of a few ideas and some forced compromises to GET IT DONE lol. i'm BAD about that.

But enough talk, have at you!

I deffinatly can see this as a boss theme. A friend and I are writting a video game soundtrack, and I've found boss themes are often hard, because it has to have just the right feeling for the boss. You're typical middle of the game boss, will not have, or at least shouldn't have the same feel as the end boss, or even a boss from the beggining for that matter. Especially in an RPG. This song feels like a boss near the end of the game, maybe even the main enemy...but this certainly dosen't feel like the final encounter. That's my thoughts at least.

But logisticly...
