Interesting Combo...
Parts of this sound like they'd belong in a Megaman game, it's true. Hearing this reminds me of another epic series of games and their origin... Metal Gear. Gratz on this cherry track, man.
This is a song I made several years ago when I was trying to figure out how to make drums using nothing but monophonic white noise. The end result? A track that is done with only 4 voiced (just like the NES/Famicom!), all mono, and sounds pretty fun to boot!
Main points of interest are the drum track itself, as well as points where I created chords by sweeping monophonic notes in a rapid arpeggio to make it sound like an actual chord is being played/sustained.
Thanks for listening, and feel free to leave comments below!

Pretty sweet!
Brings me back to my old Gameboy, with Megaman II and V.
This song rocks in so many ways it's hard to describe!
But, i'll try :P
The beat is very NES feeling, and the 'melody' is truely straight out of Megaman II/V
Meh, my words are clashing.
Like Clash man!
I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what to call this track, and ultimately chose the melody as the basis for the name.
I'm glad you liked the track, at any rate! :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
