I had to do a little doctoring on this render due to a sampler spazzing out on export, so we'll call it a teaser. Full version will come out when I figure out how to fix said seizure LOL.
Peep the album art by @Odd-Naw, who kindly inked out this cover for me. It was intended for "Sucker for a smooth criminal", but I liked it so much I couldn't resist!
Gonna commission this colorized. Meantime, definitely check him out (and maybe leave a tip!). His stuff is grungy, filthy, funky, all of my favorite things.
As for me, got some new projects in the mix. Some commissions for @MATRVG over at Reduce team, audio engineering for @JT424's "Rock and a Hard Place" audiobook, and I just finished the Russian version of t.A.T.u's "All About Us"

title bangs just as hard as this loop does.
love the mixing of the voices with the rest of the beat, everything feels in the right place.
this might just be my ear being weird, but one of the voice samples does feel like it's kinda sticking out and muddling the rest of the loop. I can pick it out at 0:00, 0:09, 0:15, 0:22 -- it's this uuaAaahhhhahhh sound, and its permeation throughout so much of the loop seems to make the track feel a little samey a little too fast for repeated listens.
however, there's a lot else to enjoy here -- the synth/pad is very ripped and muscular and that energizes well with the heavy clacking of the drumbeats, which are varied and make an awesome use of the kit.
i'm transported to basketballs and bricks, hot nights, urgency.
cool stuff!! i love hearing loops on this site.
