A remaster of the original song, which was made in the OpenMPT tracker. I like the original too, but the samples were old and you could hear it. The usage of a tracker meant that the end result sounded like some old SNES game's soundtrack. Not that that's a bad thing, but it wasn't what I was going for.

This version is made in FL Studio, which I recently bought. Along with a LABS instrument, it also uses a Spitfire instrument pack called "Originals Orchestra". I like the way it turned out with those instruments, especially the brass section. The one thing was that there was no organ instrument, meaning I had to fake it using Hybrid 3. The synth then doesn't really sound all that great, in my opinion. At least, nowhere near as good as the organs in the original sounded.

Also, the drums are rather quiet. Oddly enough, that's a problem I usually have with drum samples. But the ones in the original, which used the ST-XX drums, were louder and punchier than these ones. The hissing-screaming sound in the intro was made by me hissing into my headset, layering those hisses on top of each other, and paulstretching them.

Overall, I'm happy with it! It's what I was going for in the first place, and it seems like I could use it for the purposes I wanted to. The first of which is probably a game, whenever I'll push out one of those things.
