hey, I don't know anymore, I feel like I'm getting stuck within music, I don't feel like I'm improving anymore, and I don't know what to do about it, I don't understand how I can do it better and I feel kinda lost right now. I'm constantly feeling like my music is supposed to take me somwhere, but I think I'm looking at it from the wrong perspective, I should be taking the music, making the music and shaping the music... I don't know, probably sounds kinda cryptic, but what I mean is that I feel like making music for me right now is kinda pointless, because I don't know how to improve anymore, if anyone has tips on what could be better than please tell me, I highly would appreciate some feedback, much love <3
And it doesn't help that I'm trying to write music with lyrics right now as well, I just have too many projects and at the same time, all pretty good, but not good enough, I feel like that even if I tried finishing them, they would be "just a song" and nothing special, or maybe even bad, I don't know anymore and I would really like to just reset, but whenever I'm making something new I feel like it's not even worth saving.
And about this song, I just tried to make a more dancable tune, if that makes sense? I went for a more simple approach for the drums, in the hopes of keeping the melodies more interesting? I don't know how I feel like it turned out, like sure it feels quite powerful and dancable but still, doesn't meet the standards I have in my head anymore, I think for my next few songs I'm going to try to expiriment a little more, and try to do some wacky sound design n stuff.
