This is my version of "Mad world" originally done by tears for fears and later re-created by Gary Jules. I loved this song like many ever since it was featured in the awesome cult film "Donnie Darko" I made my own version with my own twist to it. Let me know what you think. All instruments are done by me, the piano is very simple so why would anyone use the loop from the original instead of performing it themselves when covering this song.

this is prob the best version of this song that i have heard and i actually am going to use it for a music video if thats ok with you i wrote and shot this short film that i feel this would work perfectly with and you will be credited as well as a link to here being put up with the video please get back to me about this cause i can make this prob within a day

Pretty great

Self-harmonization is wonderful, but as others have said, you could do well to get rid of the vocal effects placed on what sounds like great singing as is.

Don't stop singing, I like it a lot.

I love it, better than the original and the remake IMO, theres a bit in the middle where a heavier guitar comes in which is a bit too distorted and is a bit loud but otherwise its great. i love the beat and the vocals sound kool with that flanger or phaser or whatever it is

nice work
