Fun lil backstory

So, why am I creo's first collab? well, I personally still can't comprehend. Like many of you, I was still a conniving goober, frolicking on cube game as a kid, when I first heard Dimension on black blizzard. Creo has a tendency to make music that you hear once and never forget. My theory is that my silly little comments on some of his works have caught his attention, and that is how we became homies of the highest order.

We began work on this collab more than 2 years ago and it nearly fell into abandonment many times due to a lack of any remotely satisfying idea. To prevent this collab from collapsing, I spent countless hours obsessing over one final ID, just one more attempt to make a drop that has a chance of living up to how legendary this collab ought to be. On a very uneventful evening toiling away at the drop, I accidentally shifted the entire melody forward by a bar, and it sounded heavenly... I layered some vocal chops onto my signature flute lead and it sounded x100 more massive than I had ever expected. I immediately showed it to Creo, who was still a little burnt out from the myriad of scrapped drops.

This was it bois. It was an unforgettable melody. Personally, it grew on me so much that I lowkey wish that I made this song the main lead single of its own megaproject.

Nonetheless, I applaud creo for hanging in there. The whole second drop was stressful to mix and hard to come up with, with but once we had a solid direction, we polished everything up and it now happens to be among my absolute favorite drop ever period.
