I like the dreamy pads at the beginning and the rainstorm sound effects. The piano riff at :23 has a great emotional appeal, as does the choir pad throughout the intro. At :44, the frantic beat and graceful melodies contrast really nicely. The transition at 1:29 was a bit sudden, but I’m digging the dynamic contrast between the refrain and breakdown. The brighter tone the piece has at 1:50ish is a nice touch, and I appreciate you shaking up the harmonic framework during the middle of the piece like that. That’s an advanced compositional skill to have. By 2:15, the mood of the piece is decidedly triumphant again, although the lead synth there was a bit cheesy IMO. During the busier sections of the piece, the drums struggle to pop through the mix a bit, but otherwise the production quality holds up well. Overall, this piece is really strong - great sound design, with a balance of synthetic and orchestral influences, a solid composition with some memorable melodies, and a loud and crisp mix. Keep it up, IndexatioN! ^_^
