The year is 2k3, YouTube didn't exist for music sharing, SoundClick wasn't good, MySpace just started... we don't talk about it; and SoundCloud wasn't even conceived yet.
So where did you go to listen to bedroom producer's music who didn't have a lot of money and wasn't on a label? The Newgrounds Audio Portal aka the UNDERGROUND.
Music from everybody, all walks of life. Rappers, Beatmakers, DJs and VGM composers came to give a platform that was for everyone. Everything by Everyone.
Underground talks mostly about the Techno/House side of Newgrounds and how it was a breeding ground for modern sounds coming from the clubs and radio for bedroom musicians, producers and DJs to use.
With vocals and raps coming from fellow NG artists like Troisnyx, ChromaCee, Vadell Gabriel and DJ Chidow himself, Underground is sure to give you nostalgic dance vibes from that Y2k era of dance music.

That is a saxophone and it was a sample, chopped and pitched.
I remember I was into DMC DJ contests when I was young.. Spinning real vinyl records.. I remember being blown away! I wonder how that has evolved (checks YouTube).. are there turntablists on NG?
* I wish I knew how to dance.. The best I can do is when I move while playing bass or guitar with my band
