Yay, I made another Track. If you listen to it on Youtube, you can also see the primitve Music Video I made using Blender. That actually took a while btw.

Lately I've been trying to play a little more Jazz on the piano, go to Jam Sessions (Ok I did that exactly once and I played 2 Songs) and learn a little more about that sort of Music in general. And I think that helped this track. I used some more altered Voicings for the Chords in this Track and that made the harmony stand out a bit more and make the tune a little bit more unique. Things like adding a 9th and maybe a 13th to some of them, and perhaps omitting the root and the fifth can already add a lot of flavour to your part and I think that's one of the easiest and most effective ways people can get away from their basic diatonic triads. Maybe look up rootless voicings on the internet for a better explanation and more tips.

In terms of the Production I tried to layer stuff a bit more than I did in the past, especially the bass and the snare. Other than that, everything is pretty normal for my standards.

The Melody in the first drop is really cool in my opinion. but in the middle section, it's a little weak, that's probably the first thing I'd change if I had to go back and edit this Song.

I hope you will have fun listening to this.

I like the quirky atmosphere and heavy kick at the beginning. The panning on the synth at :13 is pretty cool, and I’m enjoying the build-up into :38. I think you could’ve foreshadowed the lead melody at :38 a bit better, but overall I enjoyed the thick texture, rhythmic content, and sound design there. The breakdown with the piano line and vocal samples at 1:17 was nice, and the pulsating pads and glitchy vocals at 1:45 serve as a nice way of transitioning back into the hook section at 1:56. I’m glad you offered some variety with the drop the second time around with the additional grouchy mid-range bass and higher-pitched synth. Overall, the arrangement of this piece is pretty cliche, and the mix could be a bit tighter in places, perhaps with some stricter equalization. But the composition and sound design are fantastic, with flashy synths, well-written harmonies, and a smooth-flowing progression. Keep it up, 314leafcutterant! ^_^
