this really does feel like something out of a high-budget fantasy movie. I'm sure many film producers would consider hiring you.
For some odd reason, you mature the impression the building itself is growing larger and becoming harder to navigate. You immediately notice how unusually cold this floor is, almost like a slaughterhouse or some sort of laboratory.
You are normally not the type to rely on strangers for help, but you logically conclude that the worst case scenario, however unlikely, is bound to occur if caught unprepared. You therefore decide that the residents might point you in the right direction despite the freezing temperatures.
"No one ever visits this godforsaken place. Can't help you, sorry. I'm also stuck in this rathole, in case you haven't noticed."
"Gas? There should be a DIY station outside... If you can even make it there."
"[unintelligible mumbling]"
"Apologies. You are better off asking the folks downstairs."

NGAIC -
The upper mid-point of an adventurer, cascading further and further down into the unknown nightmares that awaits them on other floors and their hidden paths.
When I play it back a few times, I imagine more of a dirty-silver aura as opposed to something strictly grey: a hint of a metallic blue shine, masked underneath a smog which wants to repress it. An atmosphere for those who are knee-deep in their journey, and are starting to come to the realisation of their situation
Another excellent piece as always! Apart from spending abit of extra time looking at the soundstaging of the bass-work around 1:45 onwards (some centre-presence of it sent to mono around the 35-40hz area would work pretty well!), I've got no complaints!
Upon reading the description, I instantly pictured myself in a game called "BABBDI", with all its brutalist beauty and an endless sea of gray buildings and dirty streets. As the track was progressing, I felt more frightened as I picture myself in an endless stream of stairs and corridors that they all look the same. At the same time, I also feel isolated even when there's people around I could talk to, but they all only talk about themselves, seemingly careless and never willing to help anyone.
I got very poetic somehow, which comes to show just how immersive your track is!
Great subtle buildup and I really like the more ambient effects at the end. The harmony is alos really interesting and unsettling and the elements that come in enhance the mood very well. I think the mix gets a bit muddy when the bass comes in around 1:45, but that's only a minor issue.
