I really liked the first half, but here are some things you should consider when making your next song (or piece):
You started it out with a pad instrument in D, but you quickly changed to C right after. I recommend you start out with that same pad in C; it would make it a lot cooler and less awkward.
At the beginning, you have a very powerful volume and kick in the bass drum. Reduce some of that "punch" and the volume because the rhythms you have for the remainder first half are softer and smoother than that kick. Better yet, don't use that kick at all; it would make :12 through :19 sound a lot cooler.
If you are going to change the key and beats per minute, make each part of this song longer so that listeners don't feel "off course," or make the transitions a lot smoother.
These are a few tips. Sorry for being a pain in the butt. =P

See i need to get a new program as well because I was using freaking garage band, and while it's ok I didn't get a lot of good results when just toying with different instruments -_-
