Another good combo here some good fast pace sound and the rhythm was very nice indeed

For the journeys and the meetings. The observing and the fleeting. We learn and we retreat - burned by grief or heat. We're fed on love and spice, and steady lullabies, but sometimes also lies, or greed, or cheating... wouldn't it be nice if every place was Eden... and every while a paradise? Sometimes I'd rather be in dreams and sleeping... than face the wall. The steep end. The climb or the fall.
But these times are for all. Both the highs and the lows. Both the rhymes and the flows. Both combine I suppose, make a middle ground that is sound, both vibrant and close. The sweet and the sour... mix it up and empower. Spend time with the folks. Sip some lime or some lemon and lift the linen in folds. We grow old all too fast, and the golden days pass. You never know...
But at least in our memories the old never grays! The gold always glows. For the dopest of souls.
May this be cathartic for more than the artist. A sense of peace to append a grief. Good things come; good things leave; good ones run on melodies. With a sip of lime or lemon tea.
And many thanks @Jabun for the custom instrumental + possibly still subtly audible melodic vocals behind all my added madness! ;)

Appreciate it!
Yeees! Again and again you rock! And get Frontpaged! I never had that honor :P
Thank you thank you! Might be my favorite of the year this one.
As for the frontpages this is actually the first year any of my audio gets there, when time finally comes it seems it really all happens at once! I'm sure you'll get there too eventually!
Love it! Really good job on the recording and the opening synth is golden.
Two things I would suggest are:
1. More saturation for small devices/speakers, tye sound is smaller than it can be.
2. The energy stays the same along the way which on one side makes it easier to listen to, but on the other side the listener can enjoy more diversity energy-wise.
I loved the noisy rhythmic synth you used there, what did you use to create it? if it's ok to ask of course
Correct on the assessment CD! More specifically, that opening "synth" is the Yamaha Reface CP electric piano on the CP80 setting (electric grand) running through the onboard analog moddled delay playing with the feedback and delay time settings to get that scratching glitchy effect. A quick and occasional piano note fed in, and then the delay feedback does the rest of the sound generation :) There was a bit of onboard the reverb and I'm sure some reverb send in Ableton too :) Super happy you got a kick out of it!
To clarify on the other stuff too, the guitar is running through a homemade spring reverb based on an old Yamaha organ circuit and a mini desktop Fender Twin amp, and the organ's a Yamaha YC25d running through an Orange Micro Dark amp head into a homemade Vibratone style rotary cab on slow speed (single drum rotor). Both mic'd with a single SM58 and the Organ has some light stereo chorus in ableton just for a bit of spread too (I need to pick up another 58 at some point for micing the rotary cab in stereo)!
Solid pointers, thank you! Mixing/mastering's not my forte, but hopefully all of this Inktober material will be polished proper and put out in mixtape form in a year or so. :) Noted on the energy. The vocal structure does vary quite a bit but I suppose the tone mirrors the instrumental tone all the way, so maybe that remains consistent. Maybe just vocal pauses would've felt like variation too, or a bridge somewhere... good thoughts.
Regarding the synth, the instrumental's made with a Yamaha Combo organ + homemade reverb, rotary cab and mini Fender amp, with some analog scratching on a Yamaha Reface CP... hope I got that right? Maybe @Jabun has time to elaborate later - I'm assuming he doesn't mind the ask. ;)
You are amazing and thanks for all your lyrics!
Thank you flashmakeit!
the beat is awesome, the lyrics are alright
if you freestyled this then I'll give it to you. idk, i just found myself trying to listen to the beat bc it sounds so good.
Appreciate the feedback! Though lyric-wise, I'm curious what you think could be improved? A particular part that doesn't vibe with you? The theme? The pacing?
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
