Could say something deep about the transformative nature of life, about denial, about the transient and ever-changing nature of life but... it's an error, alas, bad continuity! Hadn't pre-written the final lines and just threw in something suitable there, not realizing it was conflicting with the first line...
I noticed too after I'd gotten pretty far in the recording stage but just didn't want/have time to start over at that point. Them errs they eh... make us human? Make THIS more human? Make it all the more confusing and in-line with the theme? Excuses excuses. XD
