Another one long in the making, although this time it is my lazyness at fault.
This peculiar collab started in the February of this year as a fun little "collaboration" idea. Or well... more of a mutual project agreement. As Purple-Rocket had been on my radar for a while now, i finally decided to link up and try to get something done together. And so we decided to do a fun little switch-up, where i remake one of their tracks and they remake one of mine. And so it started. However they were already finished with their part before i even realised. And so, a hunt for ideas and motivation began for me. I did experiment a lot with this one. There are more than a couple completely scrapped versions of this project that all went in different directions, yet it felt as if they were going nowhere. At times i even thought about switching it up and doing some other track, but none stuck with me like this one. For once i decided to abandon the somewhat stubborn and silly philosophy of "If i cant improve it, i wont do it" and i decided to go completely off the rails and do my own thing with the original melodies. Thats when the gates opened for me and i felt that it finally had a direction: Taking guidance from, but not stricktly following the original. More ideas and sounds started piling up and i really started to see how the final project would sound like. You can probably tell how much fun i had with the last 3rd.
Overall a polarizing workflow, with some embarrassing lows, yet euphoric highs, made producing this a complete journey.
I hope you can feel that journey and enjoy :)

Wow very good! The drops flow very well and are never boring. The part at 01:49 is good as well. Overall, 10/10!
I might be kind of biased, but I like this remix more than the original.
