Great song but it is missing the stress on each part of this line "She's so cold, she's so sweet, she's so fair". but other then that great song.
Channeling a bit of mad Gypsy Jazz with this one. Trying to make my jazz bass sound like an upright acoustic bass, and trying to trick my viola into sounding like someone who can actually play is holding it.
Hope you enjoy.
Folks I'm going to that St. James Infirmary
To see my baby there
She's stretched out on a long white table
She's so cold, she's so sweet, she's so fair
Let her go, let her go, God bless her
Where ever she may be
She may search this whole wide world over
She'll never find another sweet man like me
When I die bury me in my straight leg britches
And put on a Stetson top hat
Put a twenty dollar gold piece on my watch chain
So the whole world will know I died standin' pat
Give me six crap-shootin' pall bearers
And a chorus girl to sing me a song
Put a jazz band on top of my hearse wagon
So we can raise hell as we roll along
Now that you have heard my story
Give me another shot of that booze
If anyone should happen to ask you
Tell them I got that St. James Infirmary blues
Great song but it is missing the stress on each part of this line "She's so cold, she's so sweet, she's so fair". but other then that great song.
Sounds so atmospheric. Please, add lyrics to the description, I'd really love to learn it.
Sure thing! :)
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
