I tried my best to put it together in time, but I will have to rework it to make it a decent track. It was so much fun to be part of NGUAC once again, hope to make it next year, too :)

I like the pensive mood at the beginning with the rich piano chords and warm strings. The percussion is a bit soft at first, but gradually gets more prominent as the piece goes on. I like the injection of energy at :50 and the gradual climax into 1:17. The choir is really nice there, but also overwhelms the strings and percussion in the mix a bit. The bridge at 2:17 does a nice job of transitioning into the final melodic section, and the victorious mood towards the end hits the piece home nicely, although the end cuts off a tad suddenly regardless. Overall, this is another strong cinematic piece with compelling sound design and a strong narrative appeal. The production details might need a bit of cleaning up, but this is still a solid effort all around. Congratulations on your success in this competition this year, Omson! ^_^

Wonderfully dramatic piece, I think only hampered by the amount of reverb everywhere, especially on your low strings. Note changes are quite chaotic in the low mids and it's hard to hear the actual tone of your bass instruments.

However, that choir sounds great. At 2:02 I want to be able to hear those chugging cellos. I know they're there!

2:45 sounds wonderful, and I think your outro closes nicely.

Overall, great work. Thanks for coming out to NGUAC!

Omson responds:

Thanks so much, will definetely update the track after evaluation is done!
