I never heard the original, but I really like this. good keys, good synths, good pads, good stuff. The only thing I didn't like was the bass drum. It could have been a lot deeper and bassier. Also, I'm not a huge fan of trance, so yeah, I'm sorry if I end up giving you an 8 instead of a 9...

Is the original artist on newgrounds, or should I look him up elsewhere?

WOW! This is a pretty 'In-your-face' song!
I'm loving it!
The melody is superb, the piano is just great. EVERYTHING about this song is amazing, I can't describe it.
