Not bad... :)
The melody and harmony parts are all great - your drums are great too, though I'd have to agree with Rig - you're a bit lacking in the bass area. I think your bass synth is a good one, though a little bit distorted - it just needs some good EQing. What would really help that bassy feeling is if you found a better kick sample - this one is centered around frequencies too high for a good "boom." ;)
Lead/guitar are both great, but could use some more EQing so they stand out. Is that some sort of phased arp I hear around 0:10? Waaaaaaaaaay too quiet, make it louder! ;D
I'm not sure if mastering is really what you want - quality is definitely what you're looking for but you're using the wrong term. At this stage, you'd want proper mixing (adjusting the volumes of the individual drums/synths) and EQing (cutting and boosting certain frequencies of individual drums/synths, and the song as a whole). Mastering is for once you've got those two perfected. ;D Still... check your inbox. ;)
Well, this was a bit too short for me to write a good review (by my standards :P) but it's a loop after all. 7/10, 4/5, nice work.
thanks man. im not very good in termnology in those kind of stuff. Still...check your indox ;) I mean it, i replied ;)
Its got potential.
Yup. This is good. It distorts a bit on my speakers... but over all its good. It has a trancy feel to it but it feels a bit forced and squished. Nice try though. Adjust the bass. It kills the song. Good try. You definitely have a lot of potential.
thanks man. i did the stuff on my head phones cause ppl was in the room so, yeh. i'll see what i can do with this later. ^^
Very good try, I liek the melody and the synths. The ebat fits in nicely too. The only thing that needs work is the mastering like you said. It distorts on my speakers. Otherwise I hope you get this mastered great :)
I made this song on headphones, so i guess it does on speakers. thanks for the review!
It does have potential, but it needs more bass. Like a sidechained sine wave - the bass you have currently is too thin. Sine waves rule. :)
It kinda sounds over-compressed, too. Maybe you meant for that to happen, but I don't really care for it. lol
I don't have too much else to add - it's the bass that really needs work. Keep trying!
will do! thanks!
